Hunt or Be Hunted – Predator: Hunting Grounds is an immersive asymmetrical shooter set in remote areas around the world, where the Predator stalks the most challenging prey. Play as a member of an elite Fireteam and complete paramilitary operations before the Predator finds you. Or, play as the Predator to hunt the most worthy prey, choosing from your vast array of deadly alien tech to collect your trophies, one by one.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is a fantastic game to enjoy whenever you’re in the mood for some chaotic and overly violent online multiplayer action. With that being said, playing it in long sessions will make the experience wear thin sooner rather than later.

I’ve found myself enjoying my time spent with the game, and I think it has the potential to improve even more. I think if you’re in the market for something akin to Friday the 13th or Evolve, or just looking for a new competitive asymmetrical multiplayer experience, you could do a lot worse than Predator: Hunting Grounds. Just keep in mind that there are elements that feel a little rough at the moment, but barring that, it’s a pretty enjoyable shooter.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is a decent multiplayer romp with just enough content and ideas to make it worthwhile. It’s a huge improvement over Ifflonic’s last game, Dead Alliance, and one that’s definitely pumped up thanks to having a popular license to lean on.

Overall, Predator: Hunting Grounds hits only on a few cylinderswhile leaving you wanting more than is currently available in the title. A universe such as this one should be shown the proper respect, instead it relys too heavily on our nostalgia with the movie franchise to entice players into taking control of an iconic film character to sell itself. And while it’s sound design is fantastic, and the combat itself can be fun for a while, it just doesn’t do enough to keep my attention for too long, making me long for a single-player campaign to bolster my fun.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is a multiplayer game with some good ideas, a very famous enemy and… really too many problems.

Predator: Hunting Grounds has good ideas: it’s more than interesting that Soldiers and the Predator face each other on a “living” map where there are missions to complete, AI-controlled squadrons and animals to hunt. But in practice, it fails completely. Missions are boring, the AI has unforgivable errors and the maps are few and all the same. Illfonic can fix matchmaking and balance issues with a patch, but fixing the rest will take much more work.

Beside horrible matchmaking and a plethora of technical faults, Predator: Hunting Grounds is awfully unbalanced, looks downright ugly, severely lacks variety and is simply unpleasant to play. The game does have a lot of clever nods to the movies and a bunch of great ideas throughout, but the execution is generally really, really bad.

This is the best predator game. I’ve already played several matches and I’m not bored, but there is one problem, poor optimization at maximum settings.

This game is really fun, the predator mechanics aren’t to hard to master, the military operations are cool, and the loot boxes are easy to earn and don’t require money, I get one every game. Though I do have one complaint, I wish that they would fix the frame rate, as it tends to lower when shooting at enemies. But I’m sure they’ll fix it in a future update. Plus, their roadmap looks promising.

Tchnically very bad. Graphics are good but not really pretty either, but the FPS is so low that it hurts my eyes. Matchmaking takes a long time and the rounds are sometimes very short. Gameplay as a soldier is boring, because the Ai is bad and most Predator dont know how to play him effectiv. Playing the Predator is nice and funny. It is the only good thing in this game at the moment. Don’t buy this now. You should definetly wait until the game runs better.

this game is a disappointment. it has clearly some potential. playing the predator is actually fun. balancing is Ok. but the soldiers part has been put aside. so boring and generic, bad ennemy AI. no special ability to make you want to play a soldier(would have been great to have hero-shooter-like abilities and synergies btw). expect long queue times to play the predator. and they also need to fix control settings and FPS drops on console: put you at a frustrating disadvantage when you just spot the predator in the trees.

I’m a huge Predator fan, but what can I say… Predator Hunting grounds is one of The most garbage games I have ever played. Bug, bugs, and more bugs. Why did they even release this game, really? One of the worst, if not the worst games I have ever had the misfortune to play. Pure dog dung.
